Hi there, my name is Lauren Tu! 👋

I’m currently based in New York City, but I most recently lived in Austin, TX and grew up near Chicago, IL.

I’ve always been a creative person — from my stint as a competitive classical pianist for 13 years and 8 years of performing in and competing with a cappella groups, to the more recent discovery of my love for things like social media content creation and visual/UX design.

Like most, I also love to travel (the photo on this page is in Porto, Portugal!), trying to explore every nook & cranny of NY, and cooking vegan recipes at home 😄

“I consider myself very fortunate to have met and worked directly with Lauren over her 3-year tenure at Indeed. It was clear from the beginning that Lauren's cross-discipline capabilities and exceptional interpersonal skills would take her far in her career.

Lauren started out with us as a contract marketing writer who provided effective copy work and marketing strategies. Her direct efforts improved in-product, email, and offsite acquisition channel outcomes for Indeed Hire. She didn't stop there. Next, Lauren self-initiated her own UX education and proactively got mentorship. Then, she applied her training in multiple active product projects that resulted in her moves into Content Design and UX Design respectively.

Lauren was an outstanding facilitator, collaborator, and critical thinker who shaped holistic user experiences. She has experience with applied content, design, and research, and has a proven track record of working adaptively and collaboratively with product to deliver business and user impact.

Any team would be lucky to add her to their squad.”
